Ok, we had a very hard time here. The Visitrax system we tried to review has been discontinued. It was old and MS Access based but the people we spoke to loved it. Many are still using it. So what did we rate, well not much except for concepts. We saw there stuff in Vegas last year and it was really good. Very slick nice screens. They told us it was cloud based but looking further it is a Microsoft Smart Client. We really like this. You need to be PC only but if so this is great technology. It is technically installed but like the benefit to a browser based internet application updates happen automatically. The website today indicates it is an office based system with a Microsoft SQL server backend running in the office. We personally like this as it is much more reliable and the growth potential is not limited, however this alone is a very expensive solution even without purchasing the software. You will need good IT and regular backups but this was one of the cleanest solutions we saw. No real customer reviews but all technology being equal this was top shelf software.
